...let the spinning wheel spin.
Looks like that ride from the carnival that I REFUSED to go on.

Hide me! Hide me!
I dunno... would I use my body to shield a buddy from a giant eagle?
Actually, I'm dumb enough that I probably would.
Speakin' of friends, one of mine is trying to win the chance to be the official blogger on an expedition to Antarctica. Too cold for me, but he loves that stuff. He's already a dedicated photographer who braves the early morning hours of Northern Canada winters, for that perfect winter sunrise shot.
Check out Quark Expeditions and vote for him to get a chance at his dream!

Ch-ch-ch-changes...
Ugh! Having to get a second job and *gasp* shaved off my beard of fifteen years! I'll do everything I can to keep the strip going despite the new schedule. ;)
Now that Walker's back at home, his powers seem to be returning. Hard for Cody to think he's just a storytelling crazy guy now.

Grrrrrl power.
Babe points out some issues in the Cherokee legends of old. Was the Uktena really evil, or was he misunderstood and got a bad deal. ...much like the Frankenstein monster. They also had little place for women as heroes in their stories.
If you're the least bit interested... here is the Cherokee legend "The Daughter of the Sun" which tells how and why the Uktena was created.
I'll be at DragonCon this weekend! (Just wandering around, not as an artist.)
