Ride the Lightning

You didn't really think I'd kill these guys off so easily did you? I like 'em too much.
They're my Rosencrants & Guildenstern. (Who got that reference?)

If that last frame looks familiar, it's because we've been here before. In fact, it was the first frame of the comic going to full time color.

Heh. I'm immediately reminded of the title 'Rosencrantz and Gildenstern are Dead'...

Yup, those are the same Rosencrantz and Gildenstern whom I was referring to. Two minor characters from a Shakespear play (MacBeth), who go off on a side venture that is never explained in the play, leaving their exploits open for a spin-off or other's interpretation. (I rather enjoyed that movie. Need to watch it again.)
